Positano Fireworks private experience

Departure from Positano, Praiano at Marina di Praia or La Gavitella at 11.30 pm with a typical 

Gozzo’s boat. 

Sail through the coast for living the exclusive experience of admiring the sky of Positano shining with magical fireworks. 

 

The dates for living these special events will be: 

• August 15, the day of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin Mary, well know as “Ferragosto”. 

 

This tour is suggested for a romantic night as a couple or for having fun with your friends on board. 

 

On the boat, you will find a wide selection of soft drinks and a bottle of Prosecco for a fancy toast,  

while admiring the dark-blue sky, the shining stars, and the many fireworks with Positano as a 

main background. 

 

About Ferragosto: 

The present Italian name of the holiday derives from its original Latin name, “Feriae Augusti” refers to the “Festivals Holidays of Emperor Augustus”. 

In fact, during the Roman era, this period of August marked the end of harvests and work in the fields, allowing the people a well-deserved rest. 

Today, Ferragosto is mainly a holiday period when Italians take brief vacations on the beach or celebrate on the streets in many cities of Italy. 

 

This feast has also a religious origin, in fact, in the seventh century the Catholic Church established a religious celebration dedicated to the Assumption of Mary for the day of August 15: a day that marked the death and rebirth of the Virgin, who was welcomed in heaven, both in body and soul. From here, Ferragosto is still celebrated today in Italy also with traditional religious ceremonies and fireworks.

All cancellations and/or changes to reservations must be made via e-mail
Cancellation up a 7 days before the excursions, refund the payment
Cancellation up to 3 days before the excursions, refund the 50% of the payment
Cancellation up to 2 days before the excursion no refund
No show: we keep the deposit / debit of the total amount from the card

In case of adverse marine conditions not sufficient to guarantee safety on board (at the discretion of the Captain or the Company), you will be fully reimbursed or, alternatively, you will have the possibility to reschedule the excursion.

In case of problems with the boat, to guarantee the service, we will give a boat of equal or better capacity, under the same conditions and without any refund.
